Our PEGylated recombinant human growth hormone injection (PEG-rhGH) received NMPA approval for adult growth hormone deficiency (AGHD), becoming China's first long-acting GH approved for this indication.
The approval was based on a multicenter Phase III study demonstrating significant improvements in quality of life, body fat distribution and lipid metabolism with once-weekly dosing, reducing injections from 365 to 52 per year.
AGHD patients commonly suffer from fatigue, metabolic abnormalities and increased cardiovascular risk. This expansion will benefit substantially more adult patients.
