Our 9-valent HPV vaccine (types 6/11/16/18/31/33/45/52/58) received NMPA approval expanding its indication to males aged 9-45 for the prevention of HPV-related anal cancer, genital warts and precancerous lesions.
This is the first HPV vaccine approved for male indications in China. Clinical studies confirmed immune responses in males comparable to females with a consistent safety profile.
Including males in vaccination programs is critical for building herd immunity and accelerating cervical cancer elimination. Capacity expansion plans are underway.
